@underfire987 Hordes and warmachine in my opinion are almost the same except for a few rules. As for battles they run as smooth as warmachine v warmachine, but know thy enemy because a warmachine player will have a few tricks you wish you had. I myself find that i wish i had some horde abilities I.E. Damage transferring so know that you have your weaknesses and a warmachine player has his.

hey has anyone played warmachine vs hordes? just looking for some more info for i am getting into hordes , i so far i have just a warpborn skinwalkers unit i plan to get the rule book before anymore models, but can anyone tell me how well hordes and warmachine do when playing the two systems together in a vs match , example: Orboros vs Khandor?
by DeathByCoco, on September 5 2010 @ 12:58 pm
@blacktemplarkid because these vids were likely made before mkII came out, these are from their vault that they decided to send out for one reason or another
by akoni63, on September 5 2010 @ 12:58 pm
@StarSCreamOS Well, IMO Vallejo Game color is the best paint out there. Its cheaper than both GW and Privateer Press (warmachine). You definitely may want to reconsider not priming your models. Primer makes the paint stick and apply better. Try a grey primer. Especially if you are painting elves. On the GW site , there are a lot of painting articles, i suggest you check those out. Invest in good brushes too. Good luck and happy painting.

Not playing MK2? Why? It’s awesome!
by makakooos, on September 5 2010 @ 12:58 pm
@StarSCreamOS yeah,DS is good basecoat for white. You´r welcome and good luck.
Happy wargaming
by StarSCreamOS, on September 5 2010 @ 12:58 pm
@makakooos it’s not that much complicated miniature….so deneb stone it is….thx once more for all advices.
by makakooos, on September 5 2010 @ 12:58 pm
@StarSCreamOS well of course you can paint with huge amount of paint on brush, but results will be,….well un-happy. But don´t worry….Dheneb Stone is high pigment colour so build a white upon it is matter of…say 2-3 layers if it is not too much complicated miniature.
by StarSCreamOS, on September 5 2010 @ 12:58 pm
@makakooos thx…i get it. damn. i was hoping for some faster solution but it looks like i’ll have to do it layer by layer…
by makakooos, on September 5 2010 @ 12:58 pm
@StarSCreamOS basically you have to use basecoat of dheneb stone like akoni63 suggested. And white is kinda problematic, you have to build it up in very thin layers…until it will be like you desire.

hi could anyone help me ive just started a tau army but i hate there commander suit could i buy a forgeworld xv9 hazard suit and use him as my leader and still have to sets of twin linked burst cannons ? thanks .
by Arbie8327, on September 5 2010 @ 12:58 pm
Why did you let a guy use unpainted minis in a report you’re putting up on youtube. Fail. -.-
Second guy’s minis look great.
by StarSCreamOS, on September 5 2010 @ 12:58 pm
@akoni63 i never use any undercoat or primer…just took plastic bits, glued them together, wait them to dry and started painting. worked fine untill i got high elves and whanted them in white..then problems started. some link or something to which paint you are reffering since i’m kinda new to all this and don’t know which are good and which are not.
by Trencher1375, on September 5 2010 @ 12:58 pm
@StarSCreamOS Privateer press p3 white is pretty nice. Also you can thin down your paint and paint in several layers.
by akoni63, on September 5 2010 @ 12:58 pm
@StarSCreamOS Maybe its P3 Linen white. Also try using GW’s foundation paint as an undercoat for white (deneb stone) if you are painting a miniture primered black.
by akoni63, on September 5 2010 @ 12:58 pm
@Skringly I know i was. I cant speak for Kaishenzi…
by StarSCreamOS, on September 5 2010 @ 12:58 pm
Where do i get so fine white paint??? every white paint that i tried is just to thick so you can see through it. It never covers figure like other colors….
by Isabu, on September 5 2010 @ 12:58 pm
Why are you guys still playing MK1?
